I agree. As cool as it sounds on paper, without big time financial backing it wont go anywhere. Now if they had the backing of someone huge like Sony, MS, Apple, or another big corporation to promote it, then maybe.
RACEpro took that one step further. If you cut the corner, you had to do a drive thru penalty. If you didnt take the penalty you were automatically disqualified and ejected from the race into the lobby.
I will believe it once I see it in action. And I am sure it works the way it is supposed to. I will not jump in day one like I would with the next PS or XBOX.
I've noticed that no RPG, whether Japanese or Western has had huge success in sales. At least not like in the glory days of SNES, PS1, era. Could it be that most of these people have moved onto MMO's like Word of Warcraft or Lord of The Rings Online??
I know that I play a lot of LOTRO, and I feel that the RPG's on consoles don't compare.
So do you think the buyers of console RPG's have moved on to MMO's on a computer?

But everyone lost the sight of the big price. And that is that there was an 20% increase in projected sales for the whole gaming industry!! And that on top of one of the worst recessions in North American history!! Why does no one pay attention to that??

Doesn't make sense to me, as isn't Champions Online in direct competition with I think it's Marvel Universe Online. Why have two very similiar games on the same console?? Especially a MMO, that has limited fan base on a console and would cost $$/mnth to play.
I'm not a WoW nut or anything, but it could work on a console such as ps3 or xbox 360. press L1 to access your battle traits. once the battle is done press r1 to access your healing and post battle traits. press left bumber to access your backpack and supplies, etc...... it doesnt have to work exactly like the computer version.
ps LOTRO is so much better then WoW, just on story alone!!
